I currently live in Boston. I moved there about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Boston the CITY is amazing, Massachusetts is the worst. The people are pretty brutal for the most part. One thing that I enjoy about Boston is the music scene. One of my favorite bands, Dispatch, is from there. Dispatch broke up the summer that I moved to the East Coast and I went to their farewell concert at the half shell which was amazing.
Since Dispatch broke up, I have found an interest in a band called State Radio which stemmed from Dispatch. They are just as good, if not better. Check out their site here: http://www.stateradio.com/ The website is pretty good and you can listen to full tracks as well as download some unreleased songs for free.
But back to Dispatch... they are reuniting for a charity concert this summer at Madison Square Garden. I bought tickets the day I found out... I'm not sure who I will bring, but it will definately be a good show. 100% of the proceeds will go to those in need in the country of Zimbabwe.
